Hi, I'm Patrick! I have celebrated over 3,700 weddings in the greater Charlotte area and as far away as Williamsburg, Virginia, Myrtle Beach and Charleston.
I am an ordained, non-denominational minister, not a mail-order or internet minister. I am a seminary graduate and have been a congregational pastor before I realized that my true calling is to assist couples in creating a wedding ceremony that is heartfelt and unique without being stiff or uncomfortable.
My philosophy is that one can do one thing extremely well or many things in an average way. Therefore, my sole focus is on weddings. I do not have a congregation or other vocations or avocations to distract me from helping you create your perfect ceremony.
This is your wedding. To help you plan your ceremony, I provide you with example ceremonies and then meet with you to assist in creating just the right ceremony for you. As the vows are the heart of the ceremony, we pay particular attention to them and customize them to reflect the things that you want to promise - not what I or someone else think you should be promising.
My goal is to make your wedding as easy and stress-free as possible. To that end, the only thing you will have to remember about your ceremony is to show up! If you do that, I will get you through it.
I have officiated traditional and contemporary Christian ceremonies as well as civil ceremonies, inter-faith and LGBQ ceremonies where the goal is to be inclusive and respectful of you, your families and your guests. Remarriages and renewal ceremonies are a large part of my ministry as are baby dedications, christenings and baptisms and other life celebrations.
I pay particular attention to the ceremony elements to insure that neither you nor your guests will feel uncomfortable, awkward or out of place.
